Hi, I'm Greg Hamerton and I've been a paragliding instructor since 1994. I've trained hundreds of pilots over the years and watched them develop fast and find confidence in the air. I have a special methodology that I've refined over decades. I'm excited to be your coach!
I love flying, and I have thousands of hours in the air. I have flown hundreds of wings while testing gear and writing reviews. I qualified as a Chief Instructor in South Africa and the UK. I competed on the Paragliding World Cup circuit but prefer adventuring and flying at my own leisurely pace.
I have published paragliding guidebook s and written many articles for Cross Country Magazine. My South African paragliding school specialised in SIV training (extreme manoeuvres), advanced cross country, and teaching tandem pilots. In the UK I continued to teach beginners for many years but nowadays I only coach licenced pilots (pilot progression).
Since 2010 I've been sharing skills on Youtube. In 2020 I formed Fly With Greg to make my complete system of pilot training available internationally.
