Hi, I'm Greg Hamerton and I've been a paragliding instructor since 1994. I've trained hundreds of pilots over the years and watched them develop fast. I have a special methodology that I've refined over decades to help you find confidence in the air.
Passion
I love flying, and I have thousands of hours in the air. I have flown hundreds of wings while testing gear and writing reviews. I qualified as a Chief Instructor in South Africa and in the UK. I have competed on the Paragliding World Cup circuit and sometimes fly competitions but prefer adventuring at my own leisurely pace and sharing the joy of flight in my videos.
Experience
I co-authored 101 Ways to Fly Better. I have also published guidebooks and written many articles for Cross Country Magazine. As well as teaching beginners for many years, I used to specialise in SIV training (extreme manoeuvres) and teaching tandem pilots, but now I only coach licenced pilots so I can focus on skills development and cross country through my flying centre in Southern Spain: Airwise.
